Hnutie New Age nie je nové náboženstvo. Predstavuje najnovšiu verziu druhého najstaršieho náboženstva – spirituality hada. Jeho hnacia sila nie je neznáma nikomu z nás. Počiatok tohto náboženstva bol zvodne odovzdaný naším prarodičom v raji. Ľudská pýcha sa prebudila a bolo to. Človek chcel byť ako BOH . Ponuka diabla znamenala opustiť Božiu cestu života a uveriť hadovmu sľubu – keď sa vzbúria proti Bohu, budú môcť byť ako BOH, a nikdy nezomrú.
Tu povedal had žene: „Nie, nezomriete, ale Boh vie, že v deň, keď budete z neho jesť, otvoria sa vám oči a vy budete ako Boh, budete poznať dobro a zlo.“ - A žena videla, že strom je na jedenie chutný, na pohľad krásny a na poznanie vábivý, nuž vzala z jeho ovocia a jedla, dala aj svojmu mužovi, čo bol s ňou, a on tiež jedol. /Gn 3, 4-6/
Hnutie New Age je označenie pre celý rad rôznych ľudských organizácií, akcií, praktík a myšlienok. Nie je organizované jedným človekom na čele. Ide o štruktúru rovnako zmýšľajúcich osôb a skupín, ktoré túžia po duchovnej a spoločenskej zmene, čo povedie k novému veku – veku Vodnára /z toho aj názov New Age – Nový Vek/.
Spiritualita New Age je „všehochuť“ východného mysticizmu, západného okultizmu, novopohanstva a psychológie ľudského potenciálu /tzv. pozitívneho myslenia/.
Na vysvetlenie – ide o akýsi supermarket náboženstiev, kde ja si vyberiem to, čo mi vyhovuje - bez toho aby som bral do úvahy historické rozdiely medzi náboženstvami. Popritom sa skresľuje kresťanstvo a čo je najhoršie, Ježiš Kristus sa degraduje len na jedného z mnohých učiteľov. Ak teda Ježiš Kristus už nie je Spasiteľ, ľudia sa vydávajú hľadať inú spásu, ktorá sa stáva ,,spásou orientovanou na seba samého“ prostredníctvom nových metód meditácií, rôznych praktík , vrátane mágie. Je to duchovný podvrh.
Čím sa náuka New Age líši od kresťanskej náuky?
- všetko je jedno – všetko je boh - ľudstvo je boh – musíme pretransformovať svoje svedomie - všetky náboženstvá sú jedno
- neexistuje nijaký zdroj vonkajšej autority – je iba vnútorná, boh v nás
- Stvoriteľa zamieňajú za stvorenie – /čo nie je pravda, pretože Boh stvoril svet z lásky a dobrovoľne/
- Kristus je istý druh energie. Ježiš nebol nikdy Kristom.
- čo sa týka hriechu, zamlčuje sa Adamov hriech. Vylučuje sa potreba spásy a Spasiteľa. Človek je podľa tejto náuky samospasiteľný.
- morálka New Age spočíva vo vlastných kritériách človeka – dôveruje tomu, čo cíti, že je dobré
- Lucifer prišiel z planéty Venuša pred 18,5 miliónmi rokov. On riadi evolúciu našej planéty. On podstúpil najvyššiu obetu za našu planétu.
- prívrženci New Age prebrali náuku reinkarnácie a prispôsobili si ju – to znamená v ich chápaní – v tomto živote si môžem robiť čo chcem a v tom ďalšom sa očistím.!!!
- ponuka Panteizmu, glorifikácie prírody – príroda nad človekom – čo je z kresťanského hľadiska nesprávne chápanie – ľudia prírodu dostali ako dar od Boha, ktorý majú chrániť, ale nie klásť na úroveň Boha
- náuka New Age odmieta utrpenie a smrť
